It's a girl!

She's due October 14, 2012 :)

It's been almost a year since I've updated this blog! Where has time gone?! Many, many changes are taking place in my life right now. It's been a rough few months, but I'm slowly but surely working on putting my life back together. As of now I'm 14 weeks pregnant and in 3 weeks I find out what I'm having! Boy or girl...it doesn't matter. All I'm hoping for is a healthy baby. I noticed that I the last time I updated my blog I was talking about becoming an aunt and sure enough Nicole gave birth  to Jake on March 8, 2012. He was 7 pounds 11 ounces and he's got so much hair! He's also a pretty good lookin' little man.

I'm excited to announce that I'm having a nephew and he's due March 2, 2012! His name is going to be Jake Wayne Nelson! I can't wait to meet the little guy :)

I got Mazzy's dog tag in the mail today. It's cute! Arrrrr...I feel like one of those crazy pet owners that never shut up about there animals, but she feels like my other kid.

Iris just asked me if she can kiss boys when she's fifteen. Of course I told her no. Then I asked her why she'd wanna kiss a yucky boy and she said, "because I haven't had my first kiss yet, duh!" What am I going to do with her?!!! Ahh. Dave and I told her that her tongue would fall off if she kissed a boy and she didn't believe us. Surprisingly she's a lot less gullible than most kids and that scares me. I guess it's good that we can talk about it now and hopefully we will be able to maintain this type of relationship later on down the road. I want Iris to be open with me about everything...even if it kills me or makes me want to kick kittens! lol

Anyways, I'm heading to Amarillo tomorrow. My little sister is probably expecting a baby! I'm worried because of her age and the current situation her and Kameron are in, but at the same time I'm positive everything will be okay. Her boyfriend has a good head on his shoulders and treats her well and she's a very motherly type of person. I'm excited to see how everything turns out. But, most of all I'm stoked that I'm going to be an Aunt!!!! Just crazy. I can't be upset that she's pregnant. All I can do is support her because I've been there once and I know how scary it is, and I think I turned out to be a pretty damn good Mom. I've ran across some bumps in the road, but so far so good. It's a learning and growing up type of experience, that's for sure. 

 Also, Mazzy is a little shit for brains!! She gets in the trash, eats my clothes and Iris' toys, and poops everywhere. This list can go on. However, she's a good cuddle monster so that makes up for all the bad things. Maybe I'll start beating her and she'll get the point! Errr. Just kidding...
